I think it will work well as a thumbnail, as the bright scarlet will attract attention. If printed on a book cover, it might be just a wee bit TOO bright. What do you think?
Derek, my experience with covers so far is that the image is always brighter on the computer screen than the actual cover of the book. In fact, the first ATWD book looked amazing on the screen, but ended up darker than anticpated when it printed. We were never able to get it to look as bright and vibrant as it did on the computer screen. I think this cover will end up muted when we get the proof.
I gotta admit, the red reminds me of the bright red blood from the Hamnmar Films. :)

Spiffy cover! I do like the reds--they pop really nicely on this.
