I am exhausted from being at Texas Frightmare this weekend and our long trip there and back, so this is a very quick update on the writing status of my projects.

To summarize, this has been a busy year!  

Kody Boye and I have yet to finish THE MIDNIGHT SPELL, though it is definitely on a fast track.  We're halfway done and having a blast writing it. We had to take a break for me to address other writing projects, but we should be back on track soon.

Once I'm done with THE MIDNIGHT SPELL, I will immediately start on PRETTY WHEN SHE KILLS.  I had hoped to write this novel in February, but I was sick throughout January and February. Being ill really mucked up my writing schedule.

Of course, if Tor picks up the book that was proposed earlier this year by my agent, I will have to toss everything aside and work on that.  Which may mean a postponement on THE RISE OF THE VAMPIRE BRIDE to early 2013.  I will keep you updated.
