I...I just finished First Days about 20 minutes ago. It is my favorite zombie book so far. And I think I know why. I love the characters that Keene and Bourne have created just as much as I love your characters so its not that. What I really like about your book is that it is more hopeful. Sure the worst may be yet to come, but there is a sense of community and pulling together that seems to be missing in other zombie fiction. I realize that Z fiction uses zombies to serve as a mirror to our own inhumanity, but some Z fiction forgets that there are good people out there.<br /><br />Anyway, I'm blathering. Great stuff.
