My Halloween Happily Ever After

Five years ago I married the love of my life, Corey Hollins. I waited a very long time to get married, never willing to "settle." I didn't want to get married for the sake of getting married. When I met Corey I knew instantly he was someone very special. Little did I realize that he was THE ONE.

Over the last decade, he has encouraged me to greater heights in my writing career and has been my stalwart supporter. He loves me despite all my weird writer quirks and is my very best friend. I never dreamed I could love anyone as much as I love him.

After 2 1/2 years of being best friends, and 3 1/2 years living together, we decided to marry on the spur of the moment. We barely gave ourselves a month to get ready. Our tiny Halloween wedding ended up a little bigger than we expected, but it was a beautiful October day and the friends and family that attended made it special.

Yes, I wore black. :)

  1. Lovely wedding photo! My husband and I had a Renaissace-themed wedding and wore outfits in the same theme as yours. :) Happy Anniversary!

    1. Photos don't even reveal how beautiful it really is. The train has cobwebs and black glittery bats with scalloped edges The veil has burgundy ribbons threaded through the under layers. The sleeves are black organza. I just love this dress! :)

      Thanks for your comment!

    1. Thanks, darling! One of my fondest memories is of my "gunslinger" standing at my side. :)
