Texas Frightmare Weekend 2013

I'm still exhausted from the weekend! It was a great convention and so much fun. I got to hang out with my fellow writers, meet fans, sign books, and have tons of fun.

So here is a recap in pictures.

Boxes packed and ready to go!

My Friday night shoe selection!
My very own Daryl Dixon Sackboy thanks to fan Christine Sullivan!
Daryl Dixon and NomNom the zombunny hanging out on my table.

Me with my fellow vampire writer/sister, Gabrielle Faust.

Jessica Meigs and I found a zombie!

My brother showed up in a Star Trek shirt! LOL! Wrong con, bro!
Even zombies like THE FIRST DAYS!
This little werewolf pup was so precious! Oh, my gawd! I want one!
You can find them at werepups.com
Me and Jessica Meigs. Female zombie writers united!

This GUY, the Gerg (aka Greg of BraveBlueMice)
rocked my world when he showed up without warning.

Felicia Sullivan, my wonderful editor for all my indie books, and me were exhausted come Sunday.

And last, but certainly not least, my very dear friend, Jacob Kier, publisher of Permuted Press. I cannot express how much I love this guy. He's a great friend.
(and yes that's Greg totally photobombing)

I'm already planning for Texas Frightmare 2014. I can't wait!

  1. I was so sad I missed it again this year. Someday I will get to attend one of these.

On a side note that little werewolf pup is so lifelike it's totally awesome yet creepy. Love the sackboy as well. Someones a Little Big Planet fan :)

    1. You have to make one soon! It's an awesome con. And yeah, the werewolf pup was creepy because it was so REAL.

Sackboys are all the rage right now. I want a zombie one!

    1. Those shoes are awesome and fun! But I'm prone to tripping even in flat shoes so....I was taking a risk!
