I'm very excited to share the cover for SIEGE.
Isn't it amazing? I really love it. I feel it goes perfectly with the previous two books.

As The World Dies: Siege is now Available at my eShop
Today is the first anniversary of the release of As The World Dies: The First Days. It is also the drop date of the final book in the trilogy, As The World Dies: Siege.
Snag your copy today!
Paperback version available here:
https://www.createspace.com/3364425
Note: Delivery dates are very exaggerated. Your book will arrive much earlier than listed in the shipping dates.
Kindle version available here:
http://www.amazon.com/As-World-Dies-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B002LISDGM/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1250276341&sr=8-16
The paperback will be available on Amazon.com in around 10 days. I prefer you buy it from my store because then Amazon.com does take a big chunk off my royalty. But, I do understand the appeal of free shipping. So don't feel guilty about buying from Amazon.com if you want to wait. It also helps with my rankings when you buy there.
eBook versions will be available at Smashwords.com sometime this evening.
Several people have asked me where they should buy my book so I make the best royalty.
1. My eShop at Createspace
2. Paperback on Amazon.com
3. Kindle on Amazon.com
4. eBooks on Smashwords.com
A few people thought I made the most money on Smashwords, but this is not the case. I provided the stripped down, non-fancy version for those of you who wanted it on your phone. It doesn't really make me much money. But I do want to make sure you get your zombie goodness in the formats you desire.
Thanks again for ALL your support!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on As The World Dies: Siege.

As The World Dies: Siege Possible Publication Date
This blog has been strangely quiet of late for one reason: SIEGE. Oh, my....GAWD! I have been working hard on all the recommended edits that have been hitting my desk. It has all begun to blur at this point, yet I'm so excited to be so close to finishing.
We're hoping to release the book August 15, 2009, but chances are it will end up being August 17, 2009.
As things become clearer, I will post additional information.
It is very close, ladies and gents. Very close!

As The World Dies: Siege Cover Ordered and More
I spent a good chunk of Saturday and part of Sunday struggling to use GIMP to make a collage of what I imagined the cover looking like to send to the amazing artist known as Detra to use as a reference. I'm new to GIMP so it was very slow going. Plus, my computer felt the need to update itself throughout the weekend and not play nice. This resulted in my final jpg being corrupted and unable to open.
So Detra ended up with stick figures with arrows and text saying things like "Jenni with an ax" and "zombie head." I hope he can make sense of it! I may post the new cover and my terrible stick figure cover in the near future.
Meanwhile, I am still working on ATWD:Siege. I am taking Thursday and Friday off this week to dedicate to the novel. My goal is to be done with the rewrite by Sunday afternoon. Then I'll dive into the edits for the first part of the book as I hand off the second half to the editor the following Monday.
My goal is to have As The World Dies: Siege out by August.

I Have Zombie Brain!!!
The last few weeks have been a bit crazy.
First, there was the whole drama of getting As The World Dies: Fighting to Survive available for purchase.
Then Spring Break arrived and we had my nephew visiting for most of it.
And finally, this week just sucked. If I was hard pressed to explain why it sucked, I probably couldn't come up with a very good explanation. It just seemed really hard to get through. Anyone watching my Twitter knows I was pretty grumpy.
This weekend I hope to get a lot of Siege tucked away and work on a few other writing projects. We'll see how it all flows.
Sales this month have been through the roof, so thank you for your support! I will probably be commissioning the new artwork for Siege in April (since I can pay for it) and see where we are at by the end of April. I'll keep you posted as to when we anticipate As The World Dies: Siege going on sale.

The Muse Named Jenni Has Won--I'm Working On ATWD: Siege
My plan was simple. I liked it. It felt good. I felt it would get my butt back into writing gear with FRESH NEW stuff and let me put the zombie deadlands aside for a few months.
I would work on a new piece of supernatural post-apocalyptic goodness all through February, revise it in March, send it off to the editor afterward, then possibly submit it to Permuted Press.
The best laid plans and all that...
I keep having dreams about Jenni and Katie. I keep having nightmares about zombies! Hell, I have Jenni's nightmares about zombies. They aren't diminishing, but increasing.
I've given up.
I'm working on the third book in the As The World Dies Trilogy. It's official.
The new work will have to wait for a month or two.
Stupid muse.
