CONTEST! CONTEST! CONTEST!!!

Recently I received what I'm calling a "gimped" shipment of As The World Dies: Fighting to Survive. Createspace has rectified the issue that caused the books to arrive without page numbers and headers to the mini-chapters. All the zombie goodness is still intact, the story is all there, the cover looks amazing, but they have those two small flaws.

I don't feel right selling these at an upcoming convention, so I thought I would hold a contest for them. If you win, you will get an autographed copy of the "gimped" book AND a special sneak preview to As The World Dies: Siege. So if you can survive not having page numbers or the mini-chapter headers, send me a short paragraph explaining who is your favorite ATWD character and why.

The winning entries will be read on the Library of the Living Dead Podcast with the infamous undead doc himself, Dr. Pus.

Send your entry to gothgoddessrhia at gmail.com and make sure you label it "Contest."

The winners will be selected by the end of April.

Good luck!

  1. I just finished First Days about 20 minutes ago. It is my favorite zombie book so far. And I think I know why. I love the characters that Keene and Bourne have created just as much as I love your characters so its not that. What I really like about your book is that it is more hopeful. Sure the worst may be yet to come, but there is a sense of community and pulling together that seems to be missing in other zombie fiction. I realize that Z fiction uses zombies to serve as a mirror to our own inhumanity, but some Z fiction forgets that there are good people out there.

Anyway, I'm blathering. Great stuff. I'm really looking forward to the sequel.
